On Sunday you can find me at the Handmade Nottingham Market, taking place at the Malt Cross from 11am - 5pm.
This is my one and only Christmas market and my last fair of the year, so do make sure to pop along if you're in Nottingham!
I'll have all my brand new Christmas cards, lucky dip bags and lots of special offers too!
This weekend I'll be at the Spiegeltent Sideshow Artisan Market, along with Handmade Nottingham. You can find us just off Old Market Square in Nottingham, on both Saturday and Sunday!
From the 15th - 17th May, I spent a few days down in London taking part in Pulse!
On the 14th May we got up horribly early and drove down to London ready to start setting up for Pulse. We arrived to a blank canvas ready to fill with products, which is quote daunting to start with! Especially since last year my stand was about a 3rd of the size of this years...
It took much longer than we had expected, but thanks to the incredibly supportive and handily tall Tom we got there in the end!
After a long day setting up, we rewarded ourselves by heading to Wagamama's for dinner, which is always a good idea!
The first day of Pulse! This turns out to also be the quietest, I guess it didn't help that it was a Sunday and the weather was awesome! Who wants to be stuck inside what is essentially a massive greenhouse all day when the sun is shining??
It was a great first day anyway, it's really lovely to have retailers and buyers wandering into your stand and appreciating all the hard work you've put in to the designs, products and even the display!
The great thing about the first day of Pulse is the free drinks and nibbles all the exhibitors get at the end! Tom and I sat with a couple of our stand neighbours and had a chat about how the day went. It was great to meet fellow designers and find out a bit about their experiences with trade shows.
After the drinks, we headed to an awesome vegan restaurant for dinner, which turned out to be crazy popular and took absolutely ages for our food to arrive, but it was delicious in the end!
Back for the 2nd day of Pulse. Today was a much busier day, with a large number of buyers from bigger shops and retailers compared to the first day which consisted of more independent shops and galleries.
Tom spent lots of time wandering around the show and heading to lots of the Shop Talks which were held throughout the day. He always took his little notebook and took notes for me about the talks on social media, blogging, crowdfunding and more! He's a pretty handy guy to have around.
The final day and also the shortest, hurrah!!
It was a bit quieter throughout the day and I think everyone was a bit worn out from such long days trying to be smiley, chatty and on your feet for 9 hours a day...! As soon as the announcement saying 'Pulse is now closed' came along at 5pm, everyone started hastily packing up and trying to get out of there as quickly as possible!
On the 7th & 8th November I took part in Renegade Craft Fair in London. We had a really great time, it was so busy and there was a huge number of incredible stalls to see!
I'm taking part in Renegade Craft Fair on the 7th & 8th November. This is the first time I've taken part and I'm so excited!
I'll be bringing along some lucky dip boxes and hopefully a couple of new products too!
There are SO MANY amazing designers and makers taking part, I'm not sure how I'll be able to resist spending a fortune! At least I can buy Christmas pressies so I'll have an excuse for excessive shopping...!!
I'm excited to be back at the Autumn Market in Birmingham this month. It's always such a great event, filled with handmade stalls, homemade foods and multiple bars in vintage vehicles!
I'll be bringing along some limited edition mini cushions, lucky dip boxes and sale totes, along with all my regular beardy, dinosaur and space themed goodies.
Last month it was the Bird In Borrowed Feathers Mini Market! As one of the organisers it was my job to be the photographer for the weekend, so I brought along my fancy 50mm lens, which I'm still trying to get the hang of as it's a manual focus lens.
It was a great weekend and I think I managed to get some pretty decent photos. I also had a go at making a little video, which you can watch below!
You can see more photos from the Mini Market over on the BIBF Facebook Page and website.
Over the weekend of the 11th & 12th April we hosted our very first Mini Market at the Malt Cross! We had a fantastic time with 20 lovely stallholders and lots of friendly visitors.
Below are photos from when we were setting up.
The beautiful entrance to our Mini Market at the Malt Cross!
Hooray! I'll be back at the Nottingham Contemporary in December for the Craft.Design.Contemporary Market. Taking place on the 5th - 7th Dec, it's always a great event for getting Christmas pressies sorted!
I'm Hannah, welcome to my blog! Here you can find snippets of my life and behind the scenes peeks at my work and studio.
